Music

Music has been called the language of the heart.
We believe that God speaks to the heart of man through music. At Olivet you
have many opportunities to express your faith, and to use your gifts through music.

Our worship style has been called blended. We believe the old hymns
of our faith, as well as the new Praise and Worship songs, each have a place in worship.

Celebration Choir

Celebration Choir meets each Wednesday at 6:30 pm. and consists of adults and older youth. Special projects include a musical at Christmas, the annual God and Country Service in July and The Passion Week over Easter Weekend/

HIS Choir

This youth choir meets at 5:45 on Wednesday evenings. There is always a need for young voices.
HIS is a choir especially for 7th-12th graders.

Praise Age

Praise Age Choir consists of senior adults ages 55 and over. We meet each Thursday at 10:00 am.
Praise Age sings at nursing homes, retirement centers and churches.

Children's Choir

Children: 1st - 6th grade
Preschool: ages 3 - kindergarten
Wednesday's at 5:45 - 6:30p.m.

Passion Play

Our musical drama depicting the last week in the life of Christ, was held on Easter weekend.  We celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2007.  This year we will be doing things a little differently, we will be having special services on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. You will be able to enjoy some of the music from the Passion Week of the past plus some new songs that will become new favorites. We hope you will make plans to spend the Easter season with us is you do not have a church home.
